This archive collects two types of documents: 1) Primary source texts written or spoken by Mormon women themselves about their lives, and, 2) Biographical profiles written about Mormon women. Our goal is to makes many of these texts available online.
Primary texts include oral histories, autobiographical profiles or life sketches, essays, statement, testimony, journal entries, letters, poetry, and other nonfiction writings in which Mormon women reveal themselves or their lives.
Biographical profiles include life sketches, biographies, histories of the lives of Mormon women, written about them by other people. Some of these texts are housed here on our website, while other texts are linked here from other web sites.
We welcome your submission of a woman’s text or biography here.
